special treat this year, entertainment will be provided by
In
between shows, families can participate in the many activities both inside and
outside the museum building. Many of the popular, old favorites will be around,
for example potting strawberry plants, painting birdhouses, and creating your
own "grass heads".
In
addition, families will be able to make a notepad from recycled paper and test
their excavation skills to unearth a personal, take-home treasure.
And
of course no Strawberry Sunday would be complete without a strawberry smoothie,
strawberry smothered ice-cream, or some fresh strawberry shortcake. Come up for
the afternoon or just stop by for a bite to eat - you won’t be disappointed.
Admission is FREE, but buy some tickets for the
food, games and crafts.
Proceeds benefit the Nature Center.
No pre-registration required.
Event is suitable for all ages. Rain or shine.
