Have you ever wondered what’s under our houses, streets, and forests? Come dig in our quarry and discover what makes up our land. Children will learn to identify common rocks including quartz, mica, feldspar, and gneiss.

Workshops are for children ages 3.5 through 10 years old, unless noted otherwise. Children should be prepared to spend most of their day outside, bring lunch, and dress for the weather.
