It’s our fall planting season at Rye Nature Center and we need your help! We’re slated to plant over 250 trees, shrubs, and herbaceous to help in our restoration of Nanderwhere Pond, our biggest vernal pool! Volunteers will be educated on proper planting techniques, plant ID, and what important ecosystem functions these plants will serve.

Work gloves and shovels will be provided. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long sleeves, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty.
