Over the past decade, the demand for Friends of Rye Nature (FRNC) programs and camps has quadrupled, rising from approximately 10,000 in 2010 to a projected 46,000 touches in 2024. This surge reflects the community's increasing interest in quality environmental education and the changing demographics in the area. Partnering with architectural firm BKSK, FRNC has thoroughly assessed its facilities and the growing demand for environmental education in Rye and the greater Westchester area, outlining strategies to support future growth and secure its legacy as a vital community resource.
