Camp registration is this Friday! It seems like just yesterday we were welcoming campers for Summer Camp 2022. As we look forward to Summer Camp 2023, let’s look back at some highlights from last year.
Frogging
A favorite activity of many campers is catching frogs at the Nature Center’s ponds. You can look for frogs, too, when the weather gets warm!
Spirit Days
For Summer Camp 2022, we introduced Spirit Days! Campers showed off their silliest sunglasses, wackiest hats, and greenest costumes as every Thursday challenged them to a new adventure.
Paddle Adventure Camp
Our Paddle Adventure Campers hiked and kayaked all over the Hudson Valley. They built their paddling skills and their appreciation for the world around them––and they had lots of fun, too!
Outreach Programs
For the past 14 summers, our last week of camp has catered exclusively to students from the Inner-City Scholarship Fund, a program made possible by our Nature Access Fund. Every year, these students from underserved communities explore nature firsthand, learn about sustainability and healthy living, and form lasting memories. Throughout the summer, we also hosted campers from the St. Ann’s and Blue Skies programs, opening our grounds to as many children as we could.
